The Austin Professional Chapter of The Association for Women in Communication annual Banner Brunch is considered one of the premier events in Central Texas and recognizes the most talented professional communicators in Austin, whose accomplishments have made a positive impact in the community and to the industry. Banner Brunch is viewed by many as the “homecoming” for AWC Austin, welcoming current and past members, as well as decision-makers and community leaders—all coming together to champion the advancement of women across all communications disciplines.

Following on the heels of the 2008 event where we celebrated 35 years of history and success, the 2009 Banner Brunch provides a grand opportunity to look ahead to the next 35 years and beyond, toward the exciting and dynamic evolution of the communications industry.

The 36th Annual Banner Brunch will empower our members and guests, as communicators and professionals alike, to Champion Change. Ms. Gay Gaddis, one of Austin’s communications visionaries and President and CEO of Austin-based T3 (The Think Tank) has been at the forefront of this change and will offer an unique perspective to our attendees as she delivers this year’s keynote address.
