Business Etiquette for the Holidays and Beyond
Joint AWC, IABC & PRSA Holiday Luncheon
During the busy holiday season, we attend many business and networking functions. Because 85 percent of business success depends on personal skills, etiquette can make you or break you at these events. It's not just about not drinking too much wine, it's about how to toast with a glass of wine. What you do at these events could determine whether someone does business with you in the new year and beyond. Join us on Dec. 16 as Jan Goss of the Austin School of Protocol teaches us etiquette skills that will help us survive the holidays and ring in a successful 2010.
Jan Goss is owner and director of the Austin School of Protocol, LLC a leader in Etiquette and Protocol services. She was trained and certified at the Washington School of Protocol in Washington, D.C. and studied International Business at American Intercontinental University.
Holiday Charity
Each year at the holiday luncheon, AWC, IABC & PRSA ask our members to support a local charity. This year we are working with Meals on Wheels and More. Founded in Austin in 1972, Meals on Wheels and More has 5,000 volunteers serving almost 2,500 elderly and disabled persons each day. In 2008, the organization served 936,009 meals. A donation of $25 will provide more than 10 meals. Please help support Meals on Wheels and More by bringing your cash donation to the luncheon. You can also donate online at Meals on Wheels and More. Your support is appreciated.
