Word of Mouth Marketing: Becoming a Talkable Brand
The average consumer mentions specific brands over 90 times per week in conversations with friends, family, and co-workers. This same consumer is spending an hour a day engaging with others on social media Web sites like Twitter and Facebook. Offline and online, word of mouth is happening and the smartest brands are benefiting from these conversations by becoming more talkable. Learn as John Moore shares the do’s and don’ts of using social media and word of mouth marketing to make both your and your clients' brand more talkable.
John Moore is a marketing strategist. From 1994 through 2004, John designed and implemented marketing programs for both Starbucks Coffee and Whole Foods Market. He now operates the Brand Autopsy Marketing Practice, a consultancy helping businesses profit by marketing with passion and purpose. A long-time believer in word of mouth marketing, John is currently serving as the Word of Mouth Marketing Association’s “Chief Evangelist.” He is also the author of the well-read Brand Autopsy blog and the author of TRIBAL KNOWLEDGE, a business management book.
