The 37th Annual Banner Brunch: Leading with a Purpose

Banner Brunch is the signature awards event for AWC Austin, recognizing the most talented professional communicators in Austin, whose accomplishments have made a positive impact in the community and to the communications industry as a whole.

Featuring:

A not-to-be-missed keynote presentation by Haley Rushing, Chief Purposeologist at GSD&M Idea City and co-founder of The Purpose Institute. In her presentation, Haley will provide examples and case studies that will change the way you view your job, your business model, your leadership style and your marketing. Haley will attend the entire event, and at the conclusion of the formal program will sign her book, co-authored with legendary Austin communicator Roy Spence, It's Not What You Sell, It's What You Stand For: Why Every Extraordinary Business is Driven by Purpose.

Networking with successful influencers representing a rich cross-section of communication fields and including media owners, connected freelancers, and leaders of some of Central Texas’ most notable and established marketing firms, public relations agencies, government affairs organizations and more.

Awards recognizing Austin's best and brightest professional communicators, whose accomplishments have made a positive impact in the community and to the industry.

Cost: Registrations received April 6 -20, 2009
$60 (AWC members) or $600 for Table (AWC member + 9 guests)
$70 (non-members) or $700 for Table (non-member + 9 guests)
$40 (students)

Pre-Registration is required and closes at midnight on April 20, 2010.  We regret that we cannot honor requests for refunds.  If you register and cannot attend you may send someone in your place.
