Get InvolvedAWC Austin is an all-volunteer organization so we are always looking for volunteers. Becoming a volunteer through AWC Austin is a great way to get to know your fellow communicators while working toward a worthy goal. There are numerous volunteer opportunities working on AWC Austin programs, providing many different levels of involvement - from a single evening to a year-long program. And you need not be a member to volunteer! In addition, AWC Austin actively volunteers with a number of community groups. Organizations that have benefited from past volunteer activities include AIDS Services Austin, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Any Baby Can, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Lisa's Hope Chest, the Austin Museum of Art and Mainspring Schools. For members, we offer the opportunity to serve on the board of directors. Board service allows you to gain valuable experience as well as grow your relationships with other members and contacts throughout our community.
