"The relationships I've made through AWC Austin literally helped put a roof over my head during a time of personal crisis. When I thought about who I could turn to, my AWC friends were the only obvious choice. Networking in AWC Austin can be so much more than simply a means for career advancement."

    The Association for Women in Communications (formerly known as Women in Communications, Inc.) is dedicated to leading change in the communications professions through information exchange, leadership, professional development and technology. The American-based association boasts a membership of more than 4,000 communicators with more than 74 professional and student chapters.

    • to recognize distinguished professional achievements;
    • and to promote high professional standards throughout the communications industry.
